Many of our list owners here use Eudora, and Eudora has absolutely no way, no way at all, asked many times and been told sorry but no, of adding any additional headers to an outgoing mail message!!!!!! so they are stuck putting "Approved:" in the first line of the body.
(although I've heard that there is a "plug-in" module available for downloading somewhere on the Net, which allows defining new headers in Eudora, I should look into this for our Eudora list owners who want moderated lists)
By the way I'm just beginning a new "Postmaster Information" Web page which will hopefully eventually be useful to Internet Postmaster as a reference on everything they "should" know including how to run mailing lists servers, and how to deal with foreign mailing list servers of all types that they might have to interact with on behalf of their users etc.
It's very preliminary now <URL: http://www2.uchicago.edu/ns-acs/ckk/postmaster.html> and I don't have much time for it but I thought it would be a good idea both to document what I've learned over the years, and to push myself to look up the missing pieces that I DON'T know yet :-)
