Subject: sendmail resources required for 1.93?

I have been running about 200 lists using Majordomo 1.92 on a SPARC 5
running SunOS 4.1.3, with 96 Mb RAM and about 200 Mb swap.

We just transferred the lists to a machine running Majordomo 1.93
under BSDI BSD/OS 2.1. At the moment I don't know what its hardware
resources are.

On the new machine we are getting several errors of the following
three variety.

  *  "cannot fork" errors

  * Several core dumps from majordomo. So far, they all seem to have
     happened in the "which" command

  * One instance of "@archive_dirs not defined in majordomo.cf!"
     (although it is defined and seems to work for the most part).

These may be all related to insufficient resources being defined for
sendmail and friends but I am unfamiliar with such parameters. Can
someone please give me some sense as to what these parameters should
be?

Sorry for the vagueness of the question. Any suggestions would be
most appreciated.

Cheers,
