The quickest way would be to send a "who <list>" to find out exactly
what's in the subscriber's list. The <your email address> was likely
tacked on as comment, if you've set strip=no. When a subscriber sends
'subscribe list <some comment or other>', I would assume Majordomo would
still grab the From: address, so the command would actually end up looking
like:
subscribe list email.address@fubar.com <some comment or other>
