As I mentioned last night the recommendations on permissions
solved my problem but it seems that (maybe) the uid/gid has little
to do with it as it seems to balk if the 'other' permissions
are missing. I.E. if I set my list to 660 my mailer complains
that it cannot expand the alias. If I set it to 664 it goes OK
regardless of the UID/GID. I tried all combinations of root, majordom
Do I need to make majordom a trusted user from sendmail?
Then I could possibly use 660 for the list alias include.
The same seemed to be true for the scripts and executables in the
majordom directory. If I remove the other permissions it balks.
I gernerally like to leave the other permissions blank when possible
in my environment.
