I see Kowardly Kevin is at it again.
For those who haven't seen the magazine club spam before:
- The author is Kevin Lipsitz <krazykev@kjl.com> of Staten Island.
Ignore any names or addresses given in the header; they are either
dummies (students at imaginary universities overseas) or innocent
folks who somehow got on Kowardly Kevin's bad side -- I was there
more than once.
- Whatever you do, please do not copy the advertisement back to
the list where you saw it!
- The advertisement gives a fax number (718-967-1550). It would
be naughty and possibly illegal to suggest that you fax large amounts
of gibberish to that number; but entirely appropriate, I think, to
fax back the form provided, or a single page expressing your gratitude
to Kevin for bringing his offer to your attention so often. Be sure
to follow the format instructions, lest your effort be wasted.
- The advertisement formerly gave a voice number: 800-433-1357.
Call that number from a pay phone (believe me, you don't want to
give Kevin your home number) and share your thoughts with Kevin's
machine.
