I hope you're correct. I didn't even get the autoreply from the abuse
address (though one of my list owners did so I know they got at least one
complaint from this site). The problem seems to me, from my discussions with
AOL users, that there is little to no education or training of new users
in a preventive manner. I have far more problems with AOL users than *any*
other ISP out there...small, large or otherwise. I don't really know
the reason why...maybe it's my bad luck...but I'm about -> <- close to
making an administrative decision that AOL is simply not an adequate service
provider and thus AOL users aren't welcome to use my list server. Drastic
I suppose but it'd save me a lot of headaches.
It seems though the more prudent action in the long run is getting rid of
this Kowardly Kevin person. Is the information posted to this list about
him correct? He's really the root behind the magazine subscription spam?
