I don't think majordomo will handle automatic replies, but I have a simple
script that you may want to use or adapt.  Send email to
rsvp_info@gsulaw.gsu.edu to have information about the script sent to 
you; send email to rsvp@gsulaw.gsu.edu to receive the script itself.
