I was finally able to get the @archive_dirs variable cofigured correctly,
but it seemed to me that I didn't want to put list-specific entries into
the majordomo.cf file. Shouldn't that go somewhere else? I would like
to use an external text file as the array and poing archive_dirs to that
file instead of having to edit majordomo.cf everytime I add a list, but
I'm going to have to learn perl first...
Any ideas?
Lisa
I use put the archive files for eg list sample in the directory
/path/to/majordomo/archives/sample
and similary for all other lists. Using a suggestion from this
discussion list, my majordomo.cf file contains the lines:
# the safe locations for archive directories. This should be defined as
# a series of root anchored directory paths as will be used as prefixes
# to the file names specified to the archive2.pl script.
@archive_dirs = ( </src/majord/archives/*> );
Using mjd: 1.93
perl: 4.036
