Majordomo-Users: [no subject]

Why does majordomo create a L.<list-name> file every time
someone subscribes to it.  Although the list-name file is
present, it does'nt add the user to that list.

-rw-rw----   1 daemon   other           6 Jun 12 09:27 L.test-users

I am using ver 1.93 on solaris 2.5.  

BTW: I am also using perl version 4.0; should I upgrade to 5.002?
