Note: The "Reply-To" field is added by the originator and
serves to direct replies, whereas the "Return-Path"
field is used to identify a path back to the origina-
tor.
Majordomo is *never* the originator of messages sent to mailing lists it
manages, thus its inclusion of the Reply-To: header is in rather blatant
violation of the Arpanet/Internet mail standard when you turn on that
option.
Reply-To is allowed in the context of mailing lists (called
teleconferencing systems in the RFC document). When used in such
context it is, again, set by the originator, not the mailing list
manager/sender, to redirect replies to the mailing list rather than to
himself.
