approve message

Does anyone know how to approve a message from Quickmail?  I could to it from 
UNIX and Eudora.
    I followed the instructions in the manual by creating a new message, 
starting the message with the "Approved: password" line, reading in a copy
of the approved message, and send it to the list address. But it wouldn't
work.  I don't know if I'm missing something, I'm learning how to use majordomo.
   Also, when you approve a message is it automatically archived ?  How do
you archive it
