Somebody had to install it (and in doing so add the proper aliases for your
list). If that wasn't you should probably check with whoever it was to
verify that the installation is correct. In the meantime, the aliases are
usually in /etc/aliases (on the host running Majordomo), but that's just a
guess since you didn't supply information like what operating system you're
using, what mail transfer programs are running or just about anything else,
really. If we're going to help, you need to tell us everything.

Well, the whole point is that if the resend program isn't being used to
process each message before it's sent to the list then nothing you can set
in the config file will make any difference because the message is just
sent straight out to each subscriber with no modifications. In this case,
Majordomo is just being used to manage the list of addresses that messages
will be sent to (which is a perfectly good way of using it, but not a very
powerful one).
