Hi fellow list members!
I have recently set up a list (wellpet-l) through my ISP/Server (my first
time :-)
The tech who has set up my list (but says he has never set up a digest),
has supposedly? configured the digest, however a couple of days ago I
received this message after running some inital test messages and test
subscribing to the list digest (which succeeded):

I forwarded this to the tech in charge of my list and when I send
the command mkdigest (I sent this just to make sure he had set it up
properly, as he said he would), I get the following result:
>>>>> mkdigest wellpet-l lili
>*** digest: failed errors follow
>open of temp file /u1/list/digest-dir/wellpet-l/shlock.10776 failed
> No such file or directory
>ABORT open of temp file /u1/list/digest-dir/wellpet-l/shlock.10776 failed
> No such file or directory at majordomo.pl line 209.
>>>>> end
>END OF COMMANDS
Your help needed!!!! :-)
BTW, I'm not vary 'puter literate (and a Mac user <g>), so try to make any
suggestions child proof ;-)
Thanks in advance!
