There seems to be a change in the behaviour of the approve script which
I haven't noticed, and I'm wondering how best to deal with it.
All the lists I manage (about 30) are on this server, and the various
accounts I have been using have a $HOME.majordomo file with lines like:
list password Majordomo@biome.bio.ns.ca
This worked fine under 1.92, but I can't get it to work at all under
1.93. Under 1.94a9 it works only if I use a full (not local) list
address, i.e.,
list@biome.bio.ns.ca password Majordomo@biome.bio.ns.ca
This is a bit of a nuisance, since aside from editing quite a number of
$HOME.majordomo files (I have lots of accounts), each list has up to
five addresses because of changes in our machine name and domain
structure.
I've been looking at approve and it doesn't look like it will be a big
job changing it, but my perl is shaky and I thought I would ask before I
jumped in.
