I am having some very annoying configuration problems with my list.
The first problem is that the config file doesn't seem to be taking
effect. I have:
message_footer << END
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the pilot mailing list. To unsubscribe, send mail to
majordomo@straylight.connectnet.com containg only these words in the
message body: unsubscribe pilot
END
in my pilot.config file (pilot is the name of the list) but the text is
not appearing at the end of the message. I am running a digest version
also. The digest is having some major problems. When the messages build up
to 40k, and it automatically sends out a digest, the digest is not mailed
properly. I am getting:

In addition to this, the digest message header which contains the
_SUBJECT_ token is not being recognized. But that is probably related to
the message_footer problem. Any ideas?
