I can see a couple of big gotchas in trying to convert a listproc list
to majordomo:
1) Unless you changed the listproc configuration, it uses the envelope
sender address for subscriptions; Majordomo uses the "reply-to" or
"from" fields from the header. This could cause trouble when people
try to unsubscribe, do a "which", etc. because the envelope sender
address is often different than the addresses in the header.
2) Some users will keep sending the old listproc commands to the old
listproc address -- or maybe to the new majordomo address.
IMO, it makes more sense to tell users that they need to resubscribe
to the new Majordomo list. This will be a small amount of hassle for
the users (Sending a one-line mail message? What a pain! It could
take *15 seconds* to do! :-}) but the new list will run more smoothly.
