Subject: Majordomo on Solaris 2.5.1

Hi,

We have a Sun Ultra 2 running Solaris 2.5.1 that
we use as our mail server. It is also our majordomo
server.

When someone sends an email to a majordomo list that
currently has no members, the owner gets the following
bounce message:

> ----- Transcript of session follows -----
> Message delivered to mailing list [listname]
> 554 [listname]... aliasing/forwarding loop broken

If I put one mail address in the list, it works fine.

The problem is that we just upgraded our mail server
from a Sparc20 running SunOS 4.1.3_u1 to the Ultra and
this wasn't a problem under SunOS.

Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance!
