With 1.94, set who_access = closed. Unfortunately 1.94 is not yet
released, but I mention it because it is very close. There is a patch (the
anon_who patch) to 1.93 that can do this; look it up in the archives
(www.meadow.net).

You're not being terribly clear here. If the user specifies the address in
the request:
zubscribe listname address@dom.ain
then Majordomo will of course zubscribe address@dom.ain. If the request is
instead
zubscribe listname
then Majordomo takes the address from the From: header. If the user's
mailer puts the hostname in the From: header, then Majordomo will use it.
(How would it know not to?)
