I agree it's useful but in any case our sendmail is behind the TIS fwtk
which has been hacked to return a message for VRFY/EXPN referring to a web
pages where email addresses can be looked up/confirmed. Provides most of
the utility for human queries, but netfind does have trouble grokking the
semantics.
