I'm sorry this doesn't have a lot to do with majordomo...
however I needed some source of Unix/Sendmail gurus to write to about this
one...
I have a virtual domain called doorctycoffee.com and on my webserver I
want to send
an email from a form To: beanboy@doorctycoffee.com with no account on my
mailserver.
I just want to forward all mail to beanboy@doorctycoffee.com to
dlw@netnet.net
by using an
Rbeanboy < @ doorctycoffee . com . > dlw@netnet.net
rewrite in my sendmail.cf file.
What I don't want to happen is this:
This kind of rewrite replaces the To: beanboy@doorctycoffee.com with
To: dlw@netnet.net when it sends the message. How do I get the mail
to dlw@netnet.net without changing the To: header? and without using a
.forward file (in effect having to create an account called "beanboy" on
my mailserver?
You see, I want to be able to do this for common names like ceo@some.domain
and legal@some.domain.
Any fixes will be rewarded with chocolate chip cookies delivered
via sparknet border gateway patrol headquarters.
