Subject: V 1.93, Solaris 2.5 - Moderated lists - sender/subject.

Please excuse me if this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't
find it in the FAQ.

We recently upgraded servers from Sun OS to Solaris 2.5 and from 1.92 to 1.93.
There seems to be a difference in the way moderated lists send out headers.
In our previous installation the Original sender and subject were preserved
when a message was approved. Now, it appears that the sender becomes
owner-'list' and the subject is stripped. I know it is possible to
"preserve" the sender and subject in the body of the message via a
'message-fronter' or 'message-footer' but what I want is to have the
original info appear in the sendmail header.

We have many "pine" users who want to see the original sender before they open
the message.

Thanks

Alan N. Federman
