Hi;
ive recently upgraded to 1.94 and after a couple of days tweaking it i
still have a few problems. Although for the most part everything works well.
Everytime i send a message the following occurs.
1) it sends a message to the subscriber with subscribe listname in the body
2) the message welcoming the subscriber to the list.
3) a message with the body subscribe listname succeded
4) on the majordomo side the owner gets a majordomo abort and the message says
that it cant chmod to xxxxx listname.new.
the second problem is that i cant, try as i may get unsubscribe to work.
I assume these problems are permissions related because once you have subscribed to the group and you start sending mail to the group everything works fine
i have everything set to owner majordom.daemon except the wrapper which is
root.root and i chmoded it to 4755. everything in the list directory is majordom.daemon and 664. even the file listname .new.
ps im running linux slackware 3.1, 2.0 kernel.
