I am having a bit of trouble getting majordomo 1.94 to work for me. I
installed it on my DEC Alpha running Red Hat Linux 2.0.18. My perl
version is 5.003 with EMBED. When I run majordomo I get THOUSANDS of
these messages...
MAJORDOMO ABORT
do_exec_sendmail, mailer -fMajordomo-Owner not executable
My majordomo.cf file points to the right mailer though....
$mailer = "/usr/sbin/sendmail -oi -f\$sender";
And yes, it is in /usr/sbin.
Now, I went into the code where the do_exec_sendmail is and tried to
hardcode the mailer part, but things just didn't work out the way I had
hoped. So, I reinstalled.
Also, I wanted to know if there was a way to limit the number of
concurrent resends. I get a bunch of them going and thats it, the load is
way way up and available memory is way way down. I setup a smart
relayhost in sendmail.cf...
DSrelay1.uu.net
And I want to make sure that majordomo is definately sending everything
out in "bulk".
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
