Subject: Permission denied!

I am installing 1.94.  In the FAQ, section 2.1 it says:

>Once you install majordomo, run "./wrapper config-test" as some other user
>(like you) and read the results.  Do_NOT_RUN  "./wrapper config-test" as
'root' >or your 'majordom' user.  That will defeat the test of the wrapper
operation.

I did all the install of majordomo as root.  When I got to the part above in
my install, I changed to myself (jack) and tried to change directory to my
majordomo-1.94 directory so I could run "./wrapper-config-test". But when i
tried to 'cd majordomo-1.94', Linux told me: Permission denied.

What did I do wrong?
