Hi everyone,
I'm very new to majordomo, and just learning, and would like to apologize
in advance because I know that many of my questions are going to be very
basic, and are probably obvious to most of you.
That said, we have just set up Majordomo 1.94 here. After a few initial
problems, the lists we have set up appear to be running smoothly, with even
the authentication problem we were having being answered by a recent
posting to this list.
However, what I cannot seem to sort out involves setting up both archives
and digests. As far as I can tell, I have been following the directions,
and have searched through various faqs and readme files, but I still feel
like I must be missing some basic steps. The following includes: 1)the
aliases for our test list, 2) two error messages I receive when I send
messages to this list, and 3) most puzzling of all, a "Permission Denied"
message I receive when I attempt to force a digest with a mkdigest command.
I have been all through the directories, and cannot find any permissions
problems that could be causing this.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
