We have been having a problem with core dumps from Hypermail, a message
indexing system which will archive a file to a web page. I think I have
identified the source of the problem, it occurs when messages have *2*
Message-Id fields, like this one:
Date: Tue, 18 Jun 96 06:36:04 -0200
Message-Id: <966@zs1ctc.ctech.ac.za>
From: zs1afz@zs1ctc.ctech.ac.za
To: dx@ve7tcp.ampr.org
Subject: -*- Pse Help Info Minooka -*-
Sender: owner-dx@ve7tcp.ampr.org
Precedence: bulk
Reply-To: zs1afz@zs1ctc.ctech.ac.za
X-VE7TCP-Loop-Detector: dx zs1afz@zs1ctc.ctech.ac.za
Message-Id: 966_zs1ctc
From: zs1afz@zs1ctc.ampr.org
To: dx@ve7tcp.ampr.org
The 2nd field looks bogus, and I think it's that one which is causing the
problem. I have sent a message to the author of Hypermail, but I was
wondering if there is some way to modify 'archive2.pl' to *not* archive the
Message-Id field in the archive file. This will fix the problem in the
interim.
Thanks - Jim
