Thanks to those who helped me with few previous questions (Jason,Dave,Oliver).
MD is a great tool and now it's running smoooth and nice! However, i have 2
more config questions that have been puzzling me for last few days:
If all bounced letters are sent to "owner-mylist", can I simply have alias
saying `owner-mylist: "|/dev/null"' or something like
"|/archives/bounces"??? It looks to me that unless I mention it in
mylist.info or mylist.intro, no users should send anything to owner-mylist.
Where can i find/read about historical purpose of owner-.. / ..-owner?
And second, more important question:
Following information in README/NEWLIST on setting up moderated lists, I
came up with following aliases:
test: "|/hd2/home/majordomo/wrapper resend -l test test-list"
test-list: :include:/hd2/home/majordomo/lists/test, test-archive
owner-test: brian
test-owner: owner-test
test-approval: brian
test-request: "|/hd2/home/majordomo/wrapper request-answer test"
test-archive: "|/hd2/home/majordomo/wrapper archive2.pl -a -y -f /hd2/home/majordomo/archive/test.archive"
However, when one sends mail to "test@..." approval process works as
designed. But when user sends mail to "test-list", it gets posted without
any approval. I though of renaming "test-list" to "test-SECRET" but then
one can telnet to port 25 and get the name without problems again.
Any suggestions on this one would be very helpful!
Thanks all.
Majordomo rules! :)
