Subject: Hiding outgoing list name info, another users experience.

  Same problem as Robert E. Brose is reporting. I think a key point here
is that the "to:" field isn't getting filled in, though I'm not sure why.
Is this happening to others who are having this same problem?

Thanks,
 Bill Loye (bjl@protocom.com)

Problem:
  Overview: mailing list recipients get mail from incorrect list owner. If
   they "reply-to" this list owner, it will send their reply to everyone
   in the list without requiring permission.
  Note that the messages *are* delivered to the people in the mailing list.

  Additional details:
  Majordomo does not write a "To:" field in the outgoing messages, and
   Sendmail fills in an "Apparently-To:" address.
   (See pg 570, "Sendmail", O'Reilly & Associates)

Environment:
  Sun Sparc 2, running SunOS 4.1.3.
  Perl Version 5.003
  Sendmail Version 8.6.12.
  Majordomo Version 1.93

List:
  bjl@protocom.com
  vacation@protocom.com
  test@protocom.com

Testlist.config (pertinant lines):
  admin_passwd      =   testlist.admin
  approve_passwd    =   testlist.pass
  moderate          =   yes
  mungedomain       =   no
  noadvertise       <<  END
  subscribe_policy  =   closed
