"I believe the problem is a simple one -- the lockfiles are owned by user
and group nobody. I assume that's why majordomo can't remove the
lockfiles and write the new version of the list members. I guess that
somewhere along the line, one of the programs in the majordomo directory
somehow lost the setUID bit on their chmod. Is that it? Do one of the
binaries (wrapper, majordomo, whatever) have to be set to a 4755
permission (or the like) to work?"

Along those lines, I am having problems with the unsubscribe command as well. This is my first list (named goodlist) and I'm rapidly becoming familar with majordomo and the Unix OS. However, I can not find any information in the resources I have and could use some suggestions on this error message:

MAJORDOMO ABORT

chown(11, 1, "/export/home/majordomo/lists/goodlist.new"): Not owner

This is the error I receive after a unsubscribe message is sent from my Mail Tool

thanx for your time,
Josh
