Subject: problem aliases archives file

I must be missing something obvious. I am attempting to archive messages sent
to a test list. The archive file is
~majordom/lists/test/test.archive/test.archive.

I get "permission denied" errors when trying to write to the archive file when
a message is sent to the list. What follows are the aliases in question:

test-outgoing:
    :include:/home/majordom/lists/test, test-archive
test-archive: /home/majordom/lists/test.archive/test.archive

However, when I have the name of the archive file as one of the lines in the
test list, the messages goes into the archive correctly.

What did I do wrong in the aliasing?
