I am using Majordomo 1.94.1 on my FreeBSD 2.1.6 machine with sendmail 8.8.3.
Whenever attempt to use the bhs-request address for my list, it returns
the following error:
Subject: Returned mail: Can't create output: Permission denied
Auto-Submitted: auto-generated (failure)
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper majordomo -l bhs"
(expanded from: bhs-request)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
550 "/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper majordomo -l bhs"... Can't create output: Permission denied
I looked through the sendmail sources and I confirmed that the error was
related to a file-system problem. Does majordomo try to create an output file
via sendmail? How is this process different from sending commands to majordomo
directly and simply including the list name in the message?
Any help would be appreciated.
