Our mailing list is archived monthly at an anonymous ftp site controlled
by the ISP providing the service. Recently some folks noticed that they
could not download the archives. "Permission denied" was the error
message they received. I contacted the ISP and they changed the
privileges so these files could be accessed. However, with the creation
of new archives, the problem remains.
How can my ISP (they know nothing about Majordomo) fix this problem so I
won't have to keep making this request?

certain elements combine with the nicety of the most delicate
machine ever invented, and not come to the inevitable conclusion
that there is a Big Engineer who is running this universe."
