Subject: Strange CHMOD problem with 1.94

I'm hoping that someone can help me with a strange error I've been seeing
in majordomo when trying to unsubscribe addresses from a list.

It happens with more than one list, so I don't think its a single list
config problem.

As the FAQ suggested, I tried running 'wrapper config-test' as a normal
user which resulted in everything appearing okay, i.e. no error messages at
all. I've also double checked my file and directory permissions manually.

Here is the response I get back from majordomo after sending a unsubscribe
message (The test list has an open subscribe and unsubscribe policy):

------------------
MAJORDOMO ABORT

chown(23232, 1000, "/opt/majordomo/lists/test-list.new"): Not owner
------------------

If I go look in my lists directory, sure enough there is a new file of zero
length called test-list.new which didn't exist before!?? The same thing
happened with the other list I tried this on.

I've searched through the FAQ and a handful of the majordomo-users archives
on Greatcircle to no avail. Does anyone have an idea of what to check
next? As far as I know, this only started happening after I upgraded to 1.94.

Thanks in advance.

Todd Wyatt
