I think FreeBSD ports for MJ are not for 2.1.x-R but for the latest
version, possibly 2.3-GAMMA. Thus you need to replace your bsd.ports.mk
file by that for the latest version, at least.

I recommend to compile wrapper in MJ distribution by yourself; it is not
difficult.
