Subject: Help! UFE applications missing
Dear Colleagues,
Due to unfortunate computer and human (mine) mishaps, we have lost all
applications to our UFE workshop that were submitted before March 1. Please
spread the word to anyone you know who might have applied to our
NSF-sponsored UFE Workshop -- TEACHING UNDERGRADUATE GEOMETRY, Cornell
University, June 9-14, 1997. Following this message will be included a short
workshop announcement. Due to this loss we will extend the deadline for
applications until April 15. Of course, all applications (new or old) are
welcome.
Thanks for your help.
David Henderson

UFE Workshop
TEACHING UNDERGRADUATE GEOMETRY,
Cornell University, June 9-14, 1997.
This workshop is intended for college and university faculty who teach (or
soon will teach) an undergraduate geometry course -- such as the courses
typically attended by future or inservice teachers. For more information and
application form visit: http://math.cornell.edu/~dwh or write
dwh@math.cornell.edu.

[David Henderson's first message went out under my name, without a
subject field. Other people posting articles to this list, please do
as I say, and not as I do :-). Subject lines are important for people
who might want to delete without reading. I did actually
try to put a subject line in, but computer technicalities undermined
my attempts. David Epstein ]
