Subject: A patch to drop a large number of subscriptions?

All,

A couple of months ago some loser wrote a utilties for Windows called
Avalanche which forges mailing list subscriptions to Shore.Net and 14
other sites running Majordomo or ListServ. This prompted us to upgrade to
1.94.1 and force +confirm subscription policies on publically visible
lists. This has helped a lot, but we're at the point where we get probably
5-10 of these forged subscription bombs to all ~130 mailing lists at
Shore.Net a day. As you can imagine this has made our mailing list server
quite unhappy. In each of these subscription bombs, all ~130 subscription
requests come in the same message. So what I'm wondering is if anyone has
patched Majordomo to silently drop (or better yet forward the mail to a
specified address) any mail which attempts to subscribe to more than x
number of lists in the same message?

Thanks in advance,

Crossposted to majordomo-workers as a suggestion for a future release.
