Subject: Mime-digest?

I have had to switch most of my 5200 subscribers to a digest version to
reduce message traffic on our list server. I got this suggestion from a
subscriber:

I don't have a problem with receiving only the digest but it would be
nice if it were in MIME-digest format. Anyone using Pegasus 2.5x
would also appreciate this as it takes digests in MIME format and
treats them as multi-part messages. Anyone using an earlier version
of Pegasus can use Stephen Knight's DIGESTER.EXE to convert the
digest into multi-part messages. For a copy of this, write to
stephenk@ftp.com.

Does anyone know if Majordomo can work with this, and if so, how to
configure it? (Start from the premise that I know next to nothing about
mail servers, and am learning Majordomo the hard way because there's no one
else to do it. <grin>) Are there other options as well or instead of that I
could suggest to subscribers?

Best regards, Deirdré Straughan
