Hmm, this local thing and multiple servers keeps coming up -- sounds
like time to have certain announcement groups propogated to other
servers, or something. Or maybe not.
Heck, everyone wants something different, when it comes right down to
it. There's no pleasing everyone. ;) Now, a mailing list mirrored in
news, so that you could choose whether you wanted junk mail in your
box, or to just read it when you had a hankering to do so, might be a
way to try to give people more flexibility in how they got their
announcments. Hmmness? Just a thought.
