Hello! I recently installed majordomo and it seems to operate OK. I still have
some trouble with the digest, but hopefully that will work out soon. However,
there is one thing that is not quite right: I use a HP Apollo 735 and we have
hp-ux A.09.05. When I issue the command

echo 'lists'|mail majordomo

I get the mail (which seems correct)

 lists
majordomo@quantum.ece.ucsb.edu serves the following lists:

  test
  xjlovers Forum for Jaguar enthusiasts
  xjlovers-digest Forum for Jaguar enthusiasts

Use the 'info <list' command to get more information
about a specific list.

but then I also get

but if I just try to mail using mail -d majordomo-owner i get

mail: can't send to majordomo-owner
Mail saved in dead.letter

which is what seems to happen above as well. Somehow in hp-ux mail does not
seem to recognize the aliases in /etc/alias. What is wrong?

Any comments received with gratitude,
