Hi!
I just got done installing majordomo-1.94.1 on Solaris 2.5.1. I did not want
digests or archiving. This is what my alias list looks like:
########################
# Majordomo aliases
majordomo: "|/path_to_majordomo_directory/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: rasana
majordomo-owner: rasana
test: "|/path_to_majordomo_directory/wrapper resend -l test test-list"
test-list: :include:/var/mailalias/majordomo/lists/test
owner-test: rasana,
test-owner: rasana
test-request: "|/path_to_majordomo_directory/wrapper majordomo -l test"
test-approval: rasana
########################
>From the above, I assume that the actual list of subscribers will be kept in
/var/mailalias/majordomo/lists/test.
So does that mean that I have to keep adding names to the above file
_manually_ to /var/mailalias/majordomo/lists/test each time I find the result
of "(un)subscribe" in my mailbox?
Or (hopefully!) I have it totally wrong, and there *is* an automatic way of
doing this?
Also, if I do _not_ have to do add users manually, where is the user list
kept?
Thanks much!
Rasana
