Isn't it confusing and/or annoying to get confirmation of everyone's
subscriptions and unsubscriptions?  I'd love to turn that off.  (Hint,
hint, hint, if any developers read this note -- or did I miss an
option somewhere? ;)

Anyway, each time someone zubscribes to a list I'm in charge of, I get
an e-mail telling me that they've done so, and I ignore the messages
-- so I think you can ignore the ones you get as well.  If you're
feeling cautious (read: paranoid), check your list file ('test') and
see if e-mail addresses are in fact getting added/removed when you get
those e-mails.
