Because you aren't doing it correctly?  Like I said, when done properly,
you cannot tell that the message went through moderation.  (Except possibly
by closely inspecting the received headers.)  The password will not be
revealed.  If you want to give a bit of information about just what you're
doing, perhaps someone can help you further.  I have been moderating lists
like this for over three years now and have not had a single problem with
approvals and moderation.
