I have a new list I'm bring up. I had tested it with my usual series of a
half dozen addresses prior to sending to the regular subscriber list. All
test messages to the list were sent fine.
The first message to the real list of subscribers (which, FWIW, is just
over 10,000), Majodomo provided the following in the Log file:
May 01 04:34:21 hitchhikers.net resend[28433] {dujour} ABORT Mailer
/bin/sendmail -fowner-dujour@hitchhikers.net dujourHiddenList exited
unexpectedly with error 18176
I'm not familar with this error. Anyone know where I can find a list of
error codes so I may track down the problem?
A quick visual check of the subscriber list had the following address show
up (not the actual address, but the formating is correct -- the "$" as the
leading character for a username:
$joe@hitchhikers.net
I've don't recall seeing a dollar sign ("$") in a username before. Is
this a legal character?
Thanks in advance for any thoughs for references on this issue.
- Mark
