This has already been answered on majordomo-workers where it belongs, but
since this thread has broken off into majordomo-users, I'll answer here,
too. Yes, a nomail-type-thing is in the 2.0 codebase. No, it is not
intended to be used for the use you mention above. That's what the alias
command is for. The user can add addresses that are to be considered the
same as the one they subscribed as. In addition, the list owner can define
transforms that compare entire classes of addresses as equivalent
(user@a.corp.com = user@b.corp.com).
Canned info follows:
Majordomo 2.0 is not released. It is not near release. It is not in beta.
It is not in alpha. It is not in any Greek letter, nor in any Egyptian
hieroglyphic. It is, sir, a non-program. If you intend to hold your
breath waiting for it, call your funeral director now.
Majordomo 2.0 is being worked on. Some of the basic infrastructure is done
and a proto-implementation exists. The design is still evolving.
Discussion about Majordomo 2.0 is ongoing. You are getting sleepy. You
will join Majordomo-Workers if you want to discuss 2.0. You will read
Majordomo-Workers archives from http://www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo-workers.
You will send all of your money to Majordomo Gurus and will hire them for
well paying consulting jobs. You will awake feeling rested and at peace.
