Hi all majoddomo users, wizards ,
I am getting a lot of trouble for setting up majordomo on an smail-Server.
to describe this Problem I will send you my Setup.
an Entry in the /etc/aliases
test-mj-request:"|/usr/loccal/majordomo/bin/wrapper majordomo -l test-mj"
but this makes Problems
cybercity-request: "|/usr/local/majordomo/bin/wrapper majordomo -l cybercity"
owner-cybercity: ruediger
cybercity-outgoing: "|/usr/local/majordomo/bin/wrapper archive2.pl -a -m -f
/usr/local/lib/smail/mailarchiv/majordomo/cybercity"
owner-cybercity-outgoing: ruediger
owner-cybercity-request: ruediger
cybercity-approval: ruediger
cybercity-owner: ruediger
owner-cybercity-owner: ruediger
the mail to cybercity goes to a special driver in smail an then
"|/usr/local/majordomo/bin/wrapper resend -l cybercity -h mail3.echtzeit.de
stripped-cybercity cybercity-outgoing"
what happens ?
a view in the Logfile for majordomo brings no answer ( permissions are OK!)
the Logfile in smail has the following Problem logged.
05/08/1997 16:58:40: [m0wPUeW-000fenC] "|/usr/local/majordomo/bin/wrapper
resend -l cybercity rector strip_lists: child of <cybercity@mail3.echtzeit.de>
insecure, access as 'nobody'
a mail to owner-cybercity is bounced
whith Subject : BOUNCE cybercity: Admin request

entry for user noboby in the /etc/passwd is OK
wrapper is compiled whith BSD-Style on HP-UX Version 9.05
Now i spend two nights to solve this Probleme changing entries in the aliases
File , setting up new lists , make all Files whith rwx Permissions ......
eight years Unix expieriens seems to be lost and I am getting frustrated.
any Help is Welcome

P.S. does anyone use to Convert an Mailarchive in Websites for Intranet-use for
example and has the right Clue for doing this ???
