oops ... yes I did have that file as well
OK here's the current list of aliases:
owner-moderated-list: moderated-list-owner
moderated-list-owner: skip
moderated-list: "|/disk2/home/majordom/tools/majordomo-1.93/wrapper resend -h
massnetworks.org -l moderated-list moderated-list-outgoing"
moderated-list-outgoing-request:
"|/disk2/home/majordom/tools/majordomo-1.93/wrapper request-answer
moderated-list"
moderated-list-approval: skip
moderated-list-outgoing:
:include:/disk2/home/majordom/listdir/moderated-list-outgoing
I can't figure out how to get subscribe to work here ... when I try I always
get a message bounced back from majordomo:

**** Help for Majordomo:
I've tried to subscribe to "moderated-list" & "moderated-list-outgoing" and
either get "**** approve: invalid list or password.**** approve: invalid list
or password." or unknown list depending on how I have setup the aliases.
Also, which is correct to have: <list>.config or <list>-outgoing.config? I
seem to end up creating both.
This is what I now have for the list:
haley% ls -l mo*
-rw-r--r-- 1 majordom majordom 25 May 15 09:04 moderated-list-outgoing
-rw-rw---- 1 majordom majordom 12158 May 15 08:51
moderated-list-outgoing.config -rw-rw---- 1 majordom majordom 12071 May 15
08:46 moderated-list.config haley%
I suspect that the moderated-list-outgoing.config file was created when was
playing with the "request-answer" alias. I have not edited the passward or
moderated entries in that file yet. I've gone through so many iterations of
this that I'm really getting confused;(
I still can't send to the list with a approve: header, when I do I get a
bounce like:
