missing list

Is there a simple answer to this problem...

I have a list called AT98 - when I try to subscribe I get this message:

**** subscribe: unknown list 'AT98'.
**** Help for Majordomo:

When I send a "lists" request I get this in return:
>>>> lists
Majordomo serves the following lists:

  AT98                                                                     
   
  atml                                                                     
   
  atml-digest                                                              
   

Use the 'info <list>' command to get more information
about a specific list.

try info AT98 and I get this again:

>>>> info AT98
**** info: unknown list 'AT98'.
