I also have been finding that lists run very slowly, although I am not
having the problems of Scott Armstrong <saluki@gate.net>. I just
installed 1.94.3 on an Indy (IRIX 5.3, perl 5.003) and it works fine,
but extremely slowly. Mail to a list of about 1500 subscribers took
several hours to process, even though there was little other activity on
the system at the time.
I suspect that there may be a timer somewhere in the configuration section
designed to keep Majordomo from overloading the system, but I haven't
found it yet. Any tips would be appreciated.
As for Scott's abort messages, I'm not getting any of these despite
having lots of bad addresses, but my past experience has been that they
usually signify that some of the mail will not go out.
