Could any one help me on this on im running BSDI 2.1
with sendmail ESMTP Sendmail 8.7.4/8.7.3; Tue, 27 May 1997 14:45:10 -0700
(PDT) (as reported by telnet on port 25)
I installed all the software followed the install instructions for
majordomo-1.94.3
added a list to the list directory and etc
did not quite understand how the setting had to be set on sendmail.cf so i
just entered
majordomo: "|/path/to/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
in my /etc/aliases file ran newaliases to update change.
also tested ./wrapper config-test loged in a different user worked fine
passed no errors.
I then send mail to my majordomo@xxx.com bsdi system it bonced back with
/usr/home/micje/majordomo/wrapper: error: insecure usage
550 "|/usr/home/micje/majordomo/wrapper /usr/home/micje/majordomo/majordomo"
... Insufficient permission: Error 0
could anyone help me on this
