Hello,
I'm still trying to make majordomo on Red Hat Linux working.
The strange effects are:
- Mail to the list isn't returned to the subscribers
- most commands to majordomo work, except unsubscribe
unsubscribing produces the message
> MAJORDOMO ABORT (mj_majordomo)!!
> chmod(33206, "/var/lib/majordomo/lists/folkmail.new"): Operation not
> permitted
All files owned by majordomo have mode 664, directories 775, so
that's not the problem. $Listname.new seems to be originaly writen by
mail, but changing owner and rights didn't solve the problem.
There is another strange file, L.folkmail, owned by mail mail, I
can't get access to it.
subscribe, lists, info... work correctly.
If anyone knows this problem or wants to have a look, the list is
folkmail@bioclox.bot.biologie.uni-tuebingen.de
Greetings
Dennis
